BEST PARKS TO BRING YOUR DOG

Dallas has lots of outdoor parks to go to with your dog, it just depends on how active or social you’d like to be. Either way, you’ll be able to find an ideal place to enjoy some exercise with your pup! 

Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge– South Dallas
Most of the time, this area is pretty low-key! If you access the trails below the bridge you are able to unhook your pup and let him/her run wild through the trails- a hidden gem of a park.


White Rock Lake– East Dallas
The most popular outdoor spot in Dallas by far. White Rock lake is a great park to go for a run or simply throw down a blanket and relax. 


Klyde Warren Park– Downtown

The park on top of the highway, Klyde Warren always has food trucks lining the park, a dog park area, a playground, and countless events (like yoga or concerts) occurring each week.

Tribal Cafe– Bishop Arts District
Organic juices and the most delicious health-conscious brunch spot in town with outdoor seating that is pup-approved.

A great dog park with a bar and restaurant inside! A local favorite to all Dallas dogs!

Katy Trail Ice House– Uptown

Right off the running trails, this is a great spot to stop for some food or a drink with your pup after getting in your and your dog’s steps. Also, a great place to watch all the games!

Dot’s Hop House– Deep Ellum 

Similar to Katy Trail Ice House but often less crowded, although still a very popular spot. Dot’s is a great place to bring the dog that still needs some training. Their huge outdoor patio allows for every table to have their own personal space.

HG Supply Co– Lower Greenville

One of the most popular rooftop spots in Dallas, HG Supply has a wide ranging health conscious and organic menu to choose from. You can sit on the roof with your dog and enjoy the overlooking view of the city.

Paridiso– Bishop Arts

Paridiso is an upscale spot in the middle of the Bishop Arts District. The outdoor patio is beautifully decorated and picture-perfect for a photo opp with your dog! 

Toler Patio Bar & Kitchen– Old East Dallas

Toler Patio is an all outdoor, low-key spot filled with vibrant colors. This bar is a great stop after a workout with your dog, no need to change, “come as you are” type of place!

Deep Ellum Brewery– Deep Ellum
